Body Torque's Contribution to Bike Safety In The Community

Business success is usually measured in sales and customer satisfaction. But it is founded on a business’s commitment to its community and industry. Body Torque gets behind the organizations that create bike safety environments for all cyclists.

Supporting Cycling

Sponsoring Partner of the Amy Gillet Foundation Ride

Bike Safe Surf Coast actively works towards making roads safe for cyclists on the Bellarine Peninsula

Body Torque is a founding member since it's inception in 2001 and supports The Cycling Promotion Fund (CPF), an organization promoting the benefits of cycling Australia wide.

Our aim behind supporting Cycling Promotion Fund (CPF) is to help others discover the fun, social and exhilarating side to cycling and bike safety on the roads. Our commitment to the sport is something we are proud of. By wearing Body Torque, you are helping to create awareness of cycling in your community.

A proud previous partner of the Amy Gillett Foundation (AGF). The AGF is a charity with one purpose – bike safety and reducing the incidence of death and injury of bike riders. The Foundation was born out of the tragedy of the death of world champion cyclist Amy Gillett, who was hit by an out of control motorist whilst cycling with her National Team mates in Germany. Since the AGF’s  inception it’s been a catalyst for change, focussed on what should be, rather than what is.  That’s why we have set ambitious aims and outcomes.

Our Mission: Bike Safety in Australia.

Our Vision: Zero bike related fatalities.

An active member and supporter of Bike Safe Surf Coast - Bellarine and Geelong. The Bike Safe community group is a registered, not for profit association that has been started by local cyclists to improve bike safety on the roads in response to recent cycling deaths and assaults on cyclists by motorists within the Geelong Region.
