The 'Blue Sheelers' wore Victoria Police bicycle patrol uniforms manufactured by Body Torque.  The padded shorts came in handy during a long day 'on the slide.'

On 13th October 2007, four members of Victoria Police's Geelong Sexual Offences & Child Abuse Unit - the 'Blue Sheelers' - competed in the Alcoa Australian Corporate Cup Head of the River.

After three races and a photo finish final, the girls emerged victorious to win the Blood Hyundai & Geelong Mazda Cup.  The Blue Sheelers surged across the line to defeat the all male crews from Powercor and WHK Day Neilson.
